Have to paint on rather than write

I've used several different brands of these pens, none are great, however these are the best I've found. It helps to wipe off the tip every so often with a paper towel, and also to use brush strokes rather than pressing down hard like writing with a pen.

I used these on Wilton Chocolate Melts when I made Marshmallow pops. I didn't have any problems writing with them. A handy tool if you plan on doing a lot of decorating of treats.

Works Half the Time

I bought a set on amazon. One pen worked (barely) and the other didn't work at all. They sent me a replacement that works a little better. I've found that storing them upside down definitely helps. First few uses gave a very fine writing but after a few uses, the tip kind of softens and I've been getting much thicker writing, with little or no pressure at all. Still the best food markers I've used as of yet.
