I know it may seem odd to have white but seriously, get it. It keeps your royal icing from turning yellow as it ages a couple of days. It also helps keep colored icings from bleeding onto your white. Anyone that has worked with reds and white for weddings or Christmas knows exactly what i am talking about. I started using this and now my favorite color combo to do is Red, White & Black. Never have a color running issue anymore.

I am relatively new to the cookie decorating world and only purchased this to see if I actually could see a difference when coloring royal icing that already appears white with this food coloring. Amazingly, I can see a difference. It's as if the royal icing by itself is somewhat transparent when dry but when you add this icing it becomes an actual white color. I love it!

Seems silly to buy white food coloring, but it does ensure royal icing is nice and white... occasionally you get more of a cream color.
