The color is intense. You just need a little bit to achieved the intense red color that you like. I am using it for my red velvet cake. Good product. Good food coloring. I will buy more with this brand.

This is sooo much better than anything you can buy at the grocery store or craft store. It has no flavor so that is a plus. This is really RED, and that's exactly what I was looking for. It really goes a long way. You don't have to use very much of it to get a great red color. I mostly use it to make red velvet cupcakes. They come out looking and tasting fantastic!

This gel makes a very nice color red. I mixed it into white frosting and it didn't take a ton of the gel to get a good non-pink color. Also, it didn't change the taste of the frosting, which is always good. :)
